Nissan Teams Up With New York Food Truck Association

If you've been to New York City lately, you know all about the dizzying array of food trucks. From the traditional fried fare to ice cream to gourmet food, you never can be too sure what mobile eatery will drive be next. There are even iPhone apps to help you find the truck you might be looking for.
But you can't just walk into any old dealership and buy a food truck. So, where do they come from? The answer varies as much as the dining options coming from inside the trucks, but pretty soon, Nissan will be on that list. That's right, the Japanese automaker unveiled two food truck concepts at the Los Angeles Auto Show earlier this month. They served up grilled cheese and ice cream sandwiches, and impressed auto critics and the media alike.
The concepts are based on the Nissan NV Van, and feature fold-out serving windows, work counters, kitchenette sets, and some eye-catching graphics on the outside. They're more than well-equipped to feed hungry New Yorkers: college students, businessmen and families alike. According to the New York City Food Truck Association, "[Food trucks] stimulate culinary innovation, draw tourists, energize the streets and are an important part of the social fabric of the city."1
With that in mind, John Howard Nissan is in full support of the Nissan food truck concepts. The more the better, we say! Come down and see us, we're conveniently located at 1730 Mileground Morgantown, WV 26505. You might not be able to buy a burger out of any of the new Nissan models in our showroom, but we're certain you'll find something you'll like.
